Any complex characters in your message? There used to be some odd glitches, many many moons ago, but I don't recall them being specific to private messages. Could try the test-forum to see if the same error also occurs in postings. | ||||

I think I have found the root cause. I was trying to send a message directly to user “tegebe”. However if I click on the private message icon at one of his posts the resulting recipient address is *not* “tegebe”. I assume the username and display name are not the same…
So it’s partly user error  I was trying to send to an unknown user. The correct method should be to always use a pm link from a post, not manually type the recipient name…Mo | ||||
