Hello

I'm new here, I've recently purchased a C303 from Sweden via the Netherlands. I don't have any recent service history, so I would like to change all the fluids. Simple, just refer to the lubrication chart (smörjschema). Except there are many versions of the lubrication chart 

• https://c303.de/c303-pdf/manual/VolvoOperatorsManual4.pdf says to use EP80/90 GL-1 in the hubs and gearboxes and EP80/90 GL-5 in the differentials.
  
• https://i.imgur.com/PdJhXkp.jpg from my kontrollbok dated 1984 says to use 20W30 engine oil in the hubs and gearboxes and EP80 (presumably GL-5) in the differentials.
  
• https://www.klabbe.eu/manualer/SmorjschemaTGB11-13-20.pdf dated 2002 says to use 5W40 engine oil in the hubs and gearboxes and EP80/140 GL-5 in the differentials.

I'm inclined to follow the oldest chart and use EP90 GL-1 in the gearbox and hubs, with EP90 GL-5 in the differentials.

What's your opinion?

Hi Maurice,

I take GL5 SAE90 for the differentials  and GL4 80W90 for the gearbox, same for the hubs.
Engine oil, I mostly use 20W50.

Thats right, plenty of version regarding the oil :-)

I have 75W80 in the gearbox. When the oil is cold, it is not so hard for the gear stick to work
