Hello,

I am new to the forum and also a new happy owner of a C304.

I would like to upgrade the truck with a turbo diesel engine and to stay with the Volvo make I have been thinking to use the D5 engine (which seems one of the best engines in terms of reliability). To help it move at lower RPM I am also considering to change to 6:1 ratio in the axles.

Could you please let me know if this has been done and what are the challenges?
