Spare tire mount for the back of a TGB1314A

Hello to all!
I am looking for assistance in fabricating a spare tire mount for the rear of my 1975 Volvo TGB1314A 6x6. Preferably, this would not require mounting the rear tire on the rear door. I am aware that CNUT, the EXPLORER Magazin TGB1314A lost its rear door mounted spare tire carrier while traveling in Iceland.
A friend sent me detailed photos of his system that includes tire mount, ladder and fuel can holder. Beautiful piece of work but far more than I need. While looking at a recent post covering the Osterstammtisch 2023 Sauerland event here:

https://www.c303.de/c303-forum/index.php?board=34;action=display;threadid=14875;start=20

I saw photos of a pale green TGB131X with black roof/silver wheels. Its spare tire appears to be mounted low on the rear of the truck. I suspect this truck belongs to "KERMIT" on this forum but am not sure. If anyone has additional photos of this truck's spare tire mounting system or details of how it is secured to the truck, please let me know.

Ultimately, I plan to tow a lightweight ex-US military M116A2 flatbed trailer which will haul a Honda CT110, extra fuel and other gear. The challenge is how carry the truck spare on the rear of the truck, not mount the spare to the rear door(unless it gets significant internal and external door frame bracing), still have a somewhat useable rear door and still tow the trailer with the standard TGB pintle hook. I know that is asking a lot and space limitations may make that impossible.

If someone on this forum has successfully mount a spare time mount and it has not either fallen off or warped the door, I would certainly be interesed in hearing/seeing details.

I am also considering purchasing something like this bumper mounted folding unit and modifying the farme to only care the spare tire. https://www.etrailer.com/RV_Cargo_Carrier/etrailer/e99050.html

Thank you for your time and patience.
Take care.

If this non-door requirement is predominantly just for certain bone-rattling stretches[{*}, or air-borne jumps, you could relieve most of the door-stress by running some ratchet-straps to the top/roof (plus bumper, and/or sides) for minimum movement in all directions.
Not max-convenient, but still max-simple.
Also a nice visble deterrent against burglars, if you don't trust the factory door locks.

Mind you, bumper-carriers are not really max-convenient either, once you have to open the doo several times a day, no matter what kind of lock; plus the lower that lock, the more dirty.
(the Kaymar lock handles on my TLC J6 I won't touch with my bare hands even after a pressure washer, for the stamped metal being so rough/edgy)

In the same year as our rally, there was a scouting team for another rally underway, on the same route west->east through Russia.
Their verdict on the section west of Novosibirsk:
"Worse washboard tracks than we ever saw in Africa/Sahara."

I lost 1 rear shock absorber completely on that very section, within one day, one other (side) still dangling.
Rear door (regular/5-door) with spare tyre was okay though; only one of the front side-windows slide-locks fell off, and some Tollarp-specific (body) bolts needed re-tightening.

Bright yellow straps for visibility (Spare tire mount for the back of a TGB1314A

Btw, iwas already pondering about this aspect, while hitting 'send' in my previous message, but in hindsight this might offer even more possibilities; ones that might otherwise be even legally prohibited:

Using bright neon yellow straps for vehicle visibility.
Rear, but also sides, even more so if the Volvo is dull & dark drab green.

The related legal question being:
Do retro-reflective straps also exist?....:))
(see no reason why not, just more expensive (and/or less strong?), but perhaps there is already a specific market out there that warrants/justifies it?)
(as small straps, they do exist I believe: dog (roller) leashes....:))
(no, I am not saying you should also include LED's or neon-strips on those big straps....although, for static parking, or some other fun run at night, if only for the little ones, why not....:))

{ADDENDUM / NACHTRAG}

Quick search reveals that these are indeed readily available on the market, even in nicely wide 2":

Or perhaps better, in original English:

https://www.amazon.com/Vulcan-Reflektorstreifen-Zurrgurt-Spangurte-3300-lbs/dp/B072R3D6YN

And while they do also exist in yellow (much better match to Green....:)), sadly not in this 'High-Viz' quality:

{ADDENDUM/NACHTRAG #2}

Even with customisable lettering, 10 characters....'VOLVO TGB'....:))

Also seems mandatory already for special/oversize road transports....

Actually, I could even imagine / be tempted to mount this kind of carrier on the front bumper, at least for a second spare tyre....:))
For short trips only one spare needed, can flip up.
For long trips mount second spare on front.
At moderate temperatures, put wheel upright.
When it is getting hot, flip forward/flat, keep original air flow intact.

Compromise: not entire wheel, but only tyre.
(more airflow)
(but do mount inner tube, to keep dirt & water out of the tyre!....:))
(regardless where it is mounted, outside)
