G,day forum members, Whilst on Long weekend trip with my boys, I found that the brake pressure switch that engages front wheel drive has failed (or stuck open). Is this a standard pressure switch or a pre-calibrated switch?
Does anyone have a spare they could sell me at a reasonable price?

are you sure, the switch is not working? Maybe the solenoid valve stucks!?

I am sure Holger. In the field I used a shorting link between brake switch and the Magnavalve soleniod operates. I also checked that +ve voltage goes to switch and finally I tested the disconnected switch operation today with a Multimeter. It stays open when I press the brake. 

I found out the switch is not a standard pressure switch--- it operates between 0.8 and 1MPa. 

Johnny, in that case there are only two alternatives: hours of searching or rijo! ;-)

Did you checked for industrial (passive) pressure switches ?

Some have adjustable switching point, some fixed, some with hysteresis.
Depending on the thread (but this could be modified or adapted), corrosion resistance and size.

Can anyone tell me the name of the orignal switch manufacturer. I can only see 0.8-1.0Mpa stamped on metal housing? It might help narrow down the search.
