Kein Schnäppchen, aber original. Unsere Lichtscheiben unterscheiden sich von den Standard-Hamburgern nicht nur durch die Tarnlichteinsätze. Diese könnte man ja auf neue Lichtscheiben transplantieren. Aber auch die Streuscheiben sind anders: Bei uns durchgehend Raster, während bei den Hamburgern konzentrische Kreise im roten Bereich sind.

Ich muss mich echt mal mit Nachgießen beschäftigen. Irgendwann.

Really? How? My lenses were already replaced and I no longer have that inner section. I often wondered if I could obtain just that part from Tatanka...

It's tempting to buy these, but the camo lights are never used and my lenses, although not original, are like new, so it's difficult to justify

I already ordered lamp glasses from tatanka. They're not the original, you'll get the standard Hella glasses.

Well, loosen the camo insert somehov and glue it onto the new glass :-) But: you also have tho have the original lamp holder inside :-)

I don't think it's that simple, the inside of the lens is different. Surely not impossible though.



I do have the original lights, just not the original lenses. I asked them about shipping to the UK but they haven't replied yet

Ich denke, mit etwas Fummelei wäre das machbar. Das Einzige wäre, die Tarneinsätze zu besorgen. Dann könnte man sie an die Trennwände kleben.

Was ich bei genauerem Betrachten auch noch rausgefunden habe: Die neuen Lichtscheiben sind aus drei Teilen zusammengesetzt: Rot oben und unten, und orange. Das ist jeweils durchgefärbter Kunststof und verklebt oder verschweißt, man kann den Stoß fühlen.
Die originalen hingegen sind aus einem Guß, der orange durchgefärbt ist! Die roten Teile sind von innen rot lackiert. Deswegen haben unsere originalen auch eine ganz andere Anmutung. Abgesehen von dem unterschiedlichen Streumustern.

With some fiddling I think it could be done. The only thing would be to get the camo inserts. Then you coould glue them onto the separators.

What I also found out on closer inspection: the new light discs are made up of three parts: red at the top and bottom, and orange. This is colored plastic and glued or welded together, you can feel the impact.
The original ones are made of one piece that is dyed orange! The red parts are painted red from the inside. That's why our original ones have a different look (besides the different scatter pattern).

@Mo: I just asked myself, if it would be sufficent for your understanding if I would write sole German? I sometimes ask myself, if people whose english is not so good eventually leave the thread.

I also (almost :-) ) never use the camo lights but somehow I'm happy to have them. I even bought the front camo lights recently :-)

Yes, I agree. I think the hardest part will be to remove the spacers without damaging the new lens.

Thanks, that's very kind. Their website lists many unusual destinations but not the UK. Either they didn't sell anything to the UK yet, or it's more Brexit nonsense
