Does anyone know why Volvo use steel manifold nuts on the b30? Many engines of this era (and older) use brass manifold nuts, while more modern engines changed to copper flashed steel nuts. The advantage is the the nut won't rust onto the stud.
Brass - suitable for B30? Copper flashed - afaik not available in imperial sizes Has anyone here swapped their manifold or exhaust downpipe nuts? Maurice | ||||

That's good to know, that's the first time I've seen imperial size copper coated nuts. Skandix.de does ship to the UK but their minimum shipping cost is too high for three nuts Thanks for the offer, I think I'll try old school brass ones first, see how they work out. Just need the new exhaust from Raka Ror now...
Thanks Maurice | ||||
