Nut #49 must be replaced with a new one each time it is removed? In the parts catalogue it just looks like an ordinary nut.



However by chance I found a Youtube video showing dismantled hubs and this nut appears to have been locked with a chisel, implying it's not reusable.



I ask because I need to replace a brake backing plate due to a snapped brake adjuster.

you can try to use it again. Often it is possible.
If not, you can buy it in this case from Tatanka.
But I think, you can use it again.
