I had two windscreen wiper problems, first the passenger wiper would only run at slow speed, second the driver wiper would not park.
When I looked under the dashboard to check the relays, I noticed a dangling cable. On the driver side motor the white cable is not connected, and I cannot see a terminal that it should connect to. On the passenger side motor it *is* connected? Now my wipers don't work at all What have I done? Also, this is the first time I've unscrewed the driver-side dashboard. Is there a way to lift it out more than 3cm or do you need to disconnect everything? Thanks Maurice

Oh crap, it never occured to me that I should disconnect the battery. I wonder what else I've broken

You were right, I've blown fuse B5. Replaced it temporarily and the wipers work again. The dangling cable on the driver-side motor is for the auto park function. It seems that the terminal has been snapped off so that will require the removal of the motor for repair. Still unsure why the passenger side only runs at slow speed. Thanks Maurice

That's what I understood, but my reply was unclear I will check the relays tomorrow. I don't have any spare fuses so I will have to be more careful than last time. Thanks Maurice
