Still on the topic of wiper motors, one of mine has uneven brush wear.
Compare this brush - note the sideways spring with the other two Is this something that will correct automatically over time after I reset the spring or should I replace the brushes now? Does anyone have any suggestion as to which brushes are a good fit? Thanks Maurice | ||||

Hi MO, Just need to re introduce my self, i was previously hear as LD till I couldnt log in any more...
hope i didnt up set any one.. Mo your spring certanly shouldnt look like that..befor you bent the brass tab back to relice the brush make sure you are in an area where you will be able to find that brush when it flys across the room. | ||||

That's a risk when removing them, but perhaps even more so when replacing them as you have to actively compress the spring, hold it and then close the tab. I had to ask my wife to help me - one person holds the spring while the other closes the tab. Originals are marked "35" but unsure what it means. Size 4x4x10mm. Maurice | ||||
