Black wire, runs from the "Broms" light on the dashboard (grey and black wires share a single connector)
![]() but is dangling free between the clutch and brake pedals. ![]() There's a sensor of some kind mounted between the brake and clutch pedals, it has only one terminal. I assume this is where it's supposed to connect? ![]() If you put your fingers behind the sensor you can push the shiny metal pin out, towards the driver. It can then be pushed back in, away from the driver. Does anyone know what this is? Maurice

Hey Mo,
the sensor with the metal pin is the brake way sensor. If you can push your brake pedal to the ground the sensor is aktivated and the brakelight is on. If the sensor is aktiv, you can reset it with pushing to the driver. When it is aktiv you have to check your brakes

Thanks, I wasn't sure what it was because it didn't seem to have any effect. This morning I discovered there was no bulb in the "Broms" warning light

bare in mind: the pedal sensor is not the only activator for the broms light. The parking brake and the sensor for different brake fluid pressures in the two brake circuits will activate that warning light as well.
