Hi,
After be owned by Fjallaleidsögumenn the car was owned by a particular in Stokkseyri (were I took the pics in 2008 with with-yellow-black colors). Then the car was painted on the same color is today and he put the original wheels. He sold it out to a horse-rental company near Blondós and bought it to them trouhgt car-selling company located in Akureyri. The wheels on the first two pics are betwen 12-14"" wide. That I´m sure is they are 37" big because I was talking to the exowner some weeks ago. At the moment the restoration will be only inside but I really like the clasic orange-withe for outside. Very fine pictures, very fine C202, Miguel!
I like the classical looking/painting (olive colour?) of your C202 just as it is now, but that yellow-white painting with the huge 37” tires with 12-14” rims is great!!! Bad luck, that the pre-owners have removed those "Icelandic-style"-tires&rims! But I ask myself, whether the 37" tires really works with the C202 for offroad-driving, without having lifted the car!?

Thank u so much Willi. I think that 35-36" is a proper size for offroad-driving with any body-lift. Anyways my car was lifted up in 2009 by teflon rings like 4-5cm.

thread revival time. i´ve since realised that the car i´ve posted isn´t actually an iceland version but i´ve since fixed this:
unfortunately the car is very sad as it was very badly restored by some kids (this is how it looked when they 1st tried to sell it: www.live2cruize.com/spjall/showthread.php/146838-Volvo-lapplander-c202 ) and it has been sitting with the sunroof and windscreen missing for a couple of years near the ocean so i´m slowly starting to strip it out so i can replace all the bad metal and will be completely changing it into a pop-top camper in the next 18-24 months.

In the summer of 2000 I drove around on Iceland for two months (5000 km) in my Volvo L3314N Laplander. I recognise this sign: In Skaftafell I met this C202:
